The ALO team is committed not only to advancing transformative lunar\u2011based radio astronomy but also to ensuring that this scientific progress aligns with societal values, the long\u2011term stewardship of the lunar environment, and the ethical use of space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ALO team coordinator, Marc Klein Wolt, has co\u2011initiated the \u201cEmbassy of the Moon\u201d community, a public\u2011facing initiative creates a platform for artists, scientists, policymakers, and the broader public to reflect on the meaning of the Moon in society, its cultural significance, its scientific potential, and the responsibilities that come with setting foot permanently on another celestial body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
